His duties as Chief Strategy/Chief Technology Officer gave him a reputation as an industry visionary and luminary, with proven success in delivering vision and strategy to vendors, end users and the market. He is recognized as a critical thought leader with value insights, and in 2007 received a Lifetime Achievement Award for Growth & Innovation in Telecommunications from Frost and Sullivan. Desiring to share insights he has learned over the years, he decided to write “Napkin Logic”.

He has a reputation as an industry visionary and luminary, with proven success in delivering vision and strategy to vendors, end users and the market.
Mr. Edholm is a high energy leader and builder with proven general management leadership (with emphasis in strategic marketing), has excellent business development and partnering skills (using a unique mix of technology, business, management and sales capabilities), as well as success in resolving cross-organizational conflicts, and experience with mergers/buying of companies. He is recognized by Analysts, Press and CIOs as a critical thought leader with value insights.
Mr. Edholm has worked in multiple VP positions, and previously managed a team of 90 staff (including Advanced Research and Incubation), where he led analysis and business positioning at a major multinational telecommunications and data networking equipment manufacturer, resulting in a major telecommunications industry merger. He delivered the roadmap for integration of different technologies portfolios and development organizations.
In 2007 Mr. Edholm was recognized by Frost and Sullivan with a Lifetime Achievement Award for Growth and Innovation in Telecommunications. He has 18 patents issued, with additional patents pending across a range of technologies, and holds a BSME/EE with Honors from Kettering University. In 2014 he published a book “Napkin Logic” where he talks about 48 great business ideas, lessons, rules and insights to make you a better business person and entrepreneur.
Recognized by the IEEE as the originator of “Edholm’s Law of Bandwidth”, he has been recognized by Internet Telephony as one of the “Top 100 Voices of IP Communications” and as one of the “50 Most Influential People in VoIP” by VoIP News.
